A "Business Day" or "Working Day" typically refers to the standard workweek, which is Monday through Friday in most Western countries.

Understanding Processing Times:

When an eCommerce website says an order will ship in "3-5 business days," this excludes weekends. An order placed on Thursday evening might not ship until the following Wednesday, even though nearly a full week has passed in real time.
